Renew started with a simple question: why is it so hard to actually remember what we read? Our founders — a small group of friends who met in a Bible study — kept forgetting the very verses that had moved them most.
So they built something. Not a flashcard app, not another notetaking tool — but a gentle, daily companion that meets you where you are and helps one verse at a time sink in deep.

Having worked a stressful software job, we were determined to take these skills to our own backyard.
Our hearts were spurred to pursue this missionally, and we now had the ability to make it.
The initial sketches were drawn up, and a cohesive design language began to emerge. The personality behind Renew began to take shape.
Leveraging every YouTube video known to man, the process for cooking up the app was locked in. We began development according to our sketches.
We were greatly opposed to AI as a means of development, but we discovered it's immense potential in aidingthe process. Our development was greatly expedited due to the extra hands.
